2018.01.14. Steampunk Wall Clock Mod.

As next my try to make big enough project, it will be wall clock mod into Steampunk style. Simple clock made by Justaminute was chosen for this, without the case, made of glass, very cheap but big enough for hang up it on the wall at the office. No, it's not for home, the company asked me to make something for office use. In the Steampunk style, sure. The clock powered from AA size battery but I decided to construct external battery handler for bigger battery of C type. Thought AA size is small and it's need to be placed in the clock itself. Not suitable for my design.
The clock is round by the shape, 34 cm in diameter, 5 mm thick glass, light weight but it's not so simple to fasten it in my construction. Well, thought there's only one screw which holds the clock on the wall. My idea is to make round brass frame and to place all these pipes-tubes-fans-manometers-etc. on it. The frame will be sitting on vertical holder made from 3 mm aluminum and 2.5 mm thickness brass inserts on the ends. Thus it will be not so heavy.
The clock is completed just today, checked for properly work, it's working very quite. The pictures will be tomorrow probably.
That's all for now.

Promised pictures of Wall Clock. It's big so the photos are not exactly what I would like to make and to see.
All parts are made of copper and brass, steel screws, no plastic used. All soldering were made of soft solder using gas torch from Italian Kemper.
The handle is for comfortable transportation and for need to replace battery. It adds some nice view to the exterior in the upper part too.
More exterior parts on the right side and the bottom. The fan, Italian brass water tee, copper wires and pipes.
Then there is battery holder, which allows to replace battery without disassembling the construction. Simply unscrew the special screw on it and that's all. Next there is a power switch (with the red knob), very comfortable to power off the clock if it's necessary. And pressure meter for the stylish look :-)))
Left side view of the clock. The power switch, battery holder, pressure meter, all parts soldered and fastened on the brass frame. It's possible to take off all exterior parts, of course.
To ensure properly fastening the clock on the wall there is made additional 4 mm hole in the bottom plate to screw it in the right position.

It's heavy but I don't know how much it weights, several kilo probably. I didn't make the photos of the other side of the moon clock, just forgot it :-))) Skleroz-zzzzz :-))) The clock has two holes in the upper plate for fastening it with 48 mm distance between their centers. The screws are included (on the other side in a plastic bag). So... that's it. How much parts you asking me are here? 198. Yes, yes, 198 parts. Part are hidden, part is in the tubes.

So, what will be next? I don't know for now. Maybe next Lamp...
